Dr. Faber Offers Up His Take on How Juveniles and the Criminal Justice System Can Work Together

During a recent trip to Atlanta, Dr. Faber appeared on the Atlanta Legal Experts Show along with former criminal turned defense attorney David Lee Windecher and Judge Asa jackson, representing DeKalb County.  Judge Jackson and Mr. Windecher are working on various ways juveniles and those in the justice system can better understand and communicate with one another.  This is a brilliant strategy. They can talk about subjects such as attire and non-verbal communication and an innovative program of this nature should be mirrored in other urban areas.  This is a perfect way for both sides to connect and engage.  Dr. Faber offers up the idea of taking the dialogue and relationship further to the point where both sides are going to spend more time and watch movies like “Straight Outta Compton” and have a dialogue afterwards.  This is a constructive way to create less dishonesty and polarization.
